Clear & Fair Attorney Fees

How Much Does a Traffic Lawyer Cost?

To fight a single infraction in most WA courts, pricing starts at $285. For multiple infractions, and for a few notoriously difficult courts, pricing may change due to extra work that may be involved.

If you’re wondering “is a traffic lawyer worth it?” – the answer is most usually yes. Even if the attorney fees are the same price as the ticket, by hiring a lawyer and keeping the ticket off your record, you’ll typically save hundreds on hiked insurance rates.

Our Fee Protection Guarantee (for Civil Infractions)

Hiring a traffic ticket attorney should never feel like a gamble. While Washington ethics rules prohibit any lawyer from guaranteeing a specific court result, we believe in a fair and transparent fee structure. To remove the risk of hiring us, we offer a Partial Money-Back Guarantee to help offset your costs if we are unable to secure a dismissal or a non-moving violation.

We provide a Partial Refund if:

  • Up to $150 Refund: If we secure a Deferred Finding on your behalf (this refund helps you manage the court’s administrative fee).

  • Up to $100 Refund: If the original moving violation is found to have been committed after a contested hearing.

No Refund is provided if:

  • Your ticket is dismissed or amended to a non-moving violation.

  • You are eligible to have your ticket dismissed or amended by taking a defensive driving course.

  • You reject an offer that would have reduced your moving violation to a non-moving violation and instruct us to contest the ticket regardless of the outcome.

Important Details & Exclusions:

  • Determination: The specific refund amount is determined at the sole discretion of the Law Office based on the total fee paid and the complexity of the work performed.
  • Court Fees: All court-ordered fines and administrative fees are the Client’s legal responsibility. Per RPC 1.8(e), we do not pay court fees directly.
  • Eligibility: This guarantee applies only to civil traffic infractions with a single moving violation. It does not apply to tickets with multiple moving violations or non-moving violations.
  • Jurisdiction: This guarantee does not apply to cases in the Grays Harbor, Lewis, or Skagit County District Courts.

Please note that our “Fee Protection Guarantee” only applies to civil traffic infractions with only one moving violation on your traffic ticket. The Fee Protection Guarantee is not applicable if multiple moving violations exist on the same traffic ticket. We handle non-moving violations at no additional costs and thus are not included in the Fee Protection Guarantee. The Fee Protection Guarantee does not apply to Grays Harbor District Court, Lewis County District Court, or Skagit County District Court.
